Learning to ride a horse can provide years of enjoyment. At Apple Blossom Trails, we’ve created camps geared towards children with little to no experience with horses or horseback riding. Older children, or those who can ride independently, are better suited for private lessons.
We believe in Safety First! So, all campers must wear a boot or solid shoe and wear a helmet (their own or a rental from us).
$50 per child. 5 Spots per class.

$130 per child. 12 Spots per class.
This camp provides a great introduction to horses and riding for children ready to spend a day with us. Stirrups & Smiles is $130 for a day of fun and learning from 10 am to 3 pm. Each child must bring their lunch along with a water bottle.
Children receive a booklet covering this information that also includes fun, horse related games for home.
Each child will have an opportunity to put their newly learned skills to work. They will groom a horse and learn to walk, stop, backup, stand in stirrups, sit on the horse and feel comfortable by petting the animal while on top. Every child will also be hand walked while on the horse by an instructor.
Each child should pack their own lunch. They will also complete a horsey craft to take home to remind them of their fun camp experience. We send them home happy, tired and sometimes more than a little dirty.
